2008 Lambing is done

This year I put
the Shetlands with their twins and triplets into
the same field as the Bluefaced Leicesters that
just had single lambs. I finally decided the
Shetlands needed a bit of extra feed so I set up
a nice creep area for the Shetlands. All the
lambs have access to the creep too so it is
working out quite well. The little black lamb
with white splashes is out of my oldest Shetland
ewe, Jenny. After many years of nice sets of
twins, this year (and last) she produced
triplets.
